1. Charlie D says:

Is the noise filtering circuit the same at all 3 points on the board? If so, should C26 and C27 be switched? Based on the pattern on the board for the left and middle sections, it looks like maybe C26 and C27 were printed in opposite positions by accident on the board.

  2. Steve Harmon says:

    Hey Charlie,
The last section of caps is a bit weird.
But the BOM is accurate so you should be good if you follow that.
    Keep up the good work!

  3. Charlie D says:

    Cool cool- thanks Zach!

  4. Daniel Daly says:

Will 10 microfarad electrolytic capacitors work just as well as 1 microfarad? I got ahold of 9 of the former by mistake.

  5. Steve Harmon says:

Hi Daniel it will filter out lower frequency ripple possibly, should not be a big deal.

  6. Daniel Daly says:

Good to know. I am using a PC ATX power supply, so ripple shouldn’t be a problem.

Incidentally, that supply (and the short-circuit protection built in) came in handy recently when I had two shorted diodes on my MST Stereo Output.
